Fusion Voice FTM Distributed Mode requires the database to be housed in an SQL Cluster and the voice files to be stored in a SAN. Both Task Managers point to the same database and same voice file storage area - which allows transcription clients to connect to any server to transcribe. Additional Task Managers can be added to a distributed mode configuration - for example if the customer wants to house separate servers outside of their firewall to serve outside Fusion Voice clients.
