Port Cards do not include software licensing. Refer to hardware matrix for maximum port cards per server. Analog Port Cards support connection to a POTS phone line, PBX, or to a station device through a ring generator (Skutch). Each port card takes an available PCI slot in the selected hardware platform.
NOTE on All Digital Cards: If Licensing in less than 24 port increments, the phone switch has to be able to hunt past disabled ports. For example if you are licensing 16 of 24 ports in a T1 environment, the phone switch has to be able to disable ports 17-24 in such a way that the call will be handled properly (route to another line or play a busy signal). Multiple T1 cards in a server require a CT Bus Cable to be connected between them (below). Call for any questions.
