The healthcare industry is still skeptical about the introduction of AI use within medical care, with 55 percent of medical professionals stating the technology is not ready for medical use, Yahoo Finance reported July 10.

The publication cited a GE HealthCare survey that assessed how medical professionals globally and within the U.S. feel about artificial intelligence in medical care.

The survey found that 26 percent of U.S.-based medical professionals said AI can be trusted, compared to 42 percent of international medical professionals.
