Dolbey is set to unveil the latest version of Fusion CAC at HIMSS 2010

HIMSS 2010, Dolbey is set to unveil the latest version of Fusion CAC™, computer-assisted coding (CAC) software at the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in Atlanta this week. Fusion CAC utilizes unique, patent pending technology in a natural language processing software engine that can read patient charts to present appropriate ICD9-CM diagnostic, procedure and CPT codes.

“The capability of CAC technology is now widely accepted and a key revenue strategy for many hospitals. Our recent work with customers has allowed us to harness their innovation as new features in this software release,” states Heather Eminger, CAC Product Manager at Dolbey. Eminger adds, “The new version 4.0 release of Fusion CAC is out of the lab and currently installed at customer sites. Version 4.0 features an extensive abstraction utility enhanced workflow tools and an entire new set of HIM and finance tools.”

The version 4.0 release of Fusion CAC includes exclusive, new features such as Running DRG Analysis, Charge Master Integration, Scanned Document Annotation with Manipulation, Automated Supervisor Code Audit Flagging and Enhanced Hybrid Medical Record Processing.
